Handmade Plant Supports

I spent a happy morning in 2013 with a pile of willow withies, a ball of string and my secateurs making willow plant supports.

After a few false starts I made these for the rapidly growing plants. The structures gradually got more complex and interesting as I became more confident with the materials. I’ll make a some more for sale at our NGS Open Garden & Secret Craft Fair in June.
